Chill at Queen Mary

Adjacent to the Queen Mary in Long Beach lies Southern California’s version of the North Pole. From Santa visits to favorite carnival foods, this annual event hosts a massive Ice Adventure Park. An indoor Christmas world created solely from ice is accompanied by an ice skating rink, tubing hill, and slide, making this a fun date night, snuggling in the “cold” without having to drive to the mountains.

The Nutcracker

Catch the world-renowned ballet while it is performed throughout Orange County this Christmas season. Getting dressed up and going to the theater can be a nice break from the hectic pace of the holidays.

Extreme Gingerbread House Decorating

Pelican Hill, The St. Regis, and Monarch Beach Resort all offer wonderful gingerbread house-making dates. The house is already built, and you’re given icing and lots of decorations to create your very own magical dream home for the holidays. Who knows? This sweet house might be just the first one you’ll be decorating together!

Winter Fest at the OC Fair

Indoor tubing and fresh snow in Orange County? Absolutely!  From December 21 through January 7, Winter Fest at the OC Fair & Event Center offers ice skating, indoor tubing, and lots of fun for children and adults. Ice Skating at Irvine Spectrum

Hold hands and skate the night away in the outdoor rink at the Irvine Spectrum Mall.

Extravagant holiday light displays can be found in neighborhoods throughout Orange County, from Brea to Laguna Hills and beyond. Grab a cup of cocoa and take a drive, or park in one of the wonderful neighborhoods and take a romantic stroll with the holiday lights guiding your way.
