This bride and groom already had a special place within the Sparkling Soirées family, and we were honored to take the reins on the design and coordination of their spectacular southern California wedding. George, a manager for some of Orange County’s most stunning event venues, has worked with Sparkling Soirées for years creating beautiful weddings for other couples, so we were thrilled to have the chance to put the spotlight on George and his gorgeous bride, Chelsea.
The Ocean Institute in Dana Point was the ultimate venue for a couple that is clearly meant to be, and we wanted their wedding to be absolutely perfect. With the help of some of our favorite vendors, we were able to create a unique setting that reflected their style.
Chelsea appreciates a modern look, so we incorporated glass acrylics to add an elegant, sophisticated touch. The venue is stunning on its own, so it does not need a lot of décor, especially in the ocean-view courtyard. By adding an arch of rose petals to the ceremony space, Chelsea’s vision of a simple, romantic space to exchange vows in came to life.
After the couple said their “I do’s” Chelsea and George headed to cocktail hour to enjoy drinks and caricatures by the lovely Darci Herbold. When we stole the newlyweds away for a quick sneak peek at their reception decor, Chelsea was brought to tears. The Samueli Center was swoon-worthy and exceeded the bride and groom’s expectations.
The happy couple danced the night away with their closest friends and family, and enjoyed the soft sounds of the ocean as the lights began to fade. It was a true pleasure to design and coordinate a day for a lovely couple who we are honored to call friends. Congratulations, Chelsea & George!
