Danielle and Grant’s love story “took off” miles above the ground. Grant’s career as a pilot and Danielle’s as a flight attendant may have brought them together, but when it came to their wedding, they chose to tie the knot a little closer to home. On a beautiful October day, Danielle and Grant were married in one of San Clemente’s most stunning venues, Plaza de Magdalena.
Italian countryside charm met tropical romance with their unique ceremony design. Vines draped the walls while a lavish floral chandelier–complete with palms and gold-painted hues–hung above the aisle. The suspended centerpiece, created by Fantasy Floral Designs, added a beautiful bohemian touch.
While the bride and groom snuck away to the Mission San Juan Capistrano for photos, guests started trickling in. Friends and family loved snapping their own pictures with polaroid cameras available at the guest table, placing their photos in the guest book along with words of good wishes for a fun twist on a traditional idea!
Taking advantage of the gorgeous Los Rios Historic District just down the street, Danielle crossed the quaint train tracks to have a “first look” with her father. Surrounded by wooden cottages and lush greenery, a beautiful butterfly suddenly appeared. Danielle knew that the butterfly’s presence was a symbol of her grandmother’s presence watching over her special day.
When it was time for the ceremony to begin, Danielle walked down the aisle in a stunning strapless gown with a long, lace train draping luxuriously behind her. She met Grant at a sweeping grand staircase, adorned with candles and greenery, that served as the backdrop for their personal vows.A sweet and loving prayer from Grant’s grandfather, who served as the officiant, set the tone for this touching ceremony. The two stood together at the altar without a bridal party, enjoying this intimate moment before celebrating with their closest friends and family.
The heartwarming ceremony was followed by a welcoming cocktail hour where guests enjoyed scrumptious appetizers provided by Sundried Tomato until Danielle and Grant entered the reception as Mr. and Mrs. Majetich. An adorable first dance and sweet father/daughter and mother/son moments were capped off with a sweet toast from Danielle’s father. The evening was filled with so much love for the bride and groom. As the evening came to an end, their guests created a tunnel of bubbles for them to “fly” through as they began their new life together. These two have been on cloud nine ever since!
